A Chicago-based upscale breakfast restaurant is coming to CityWay.
Yolk has signed a lease to occupy 4,410 square feet in the downtown mixed-use development at Delaware and South streets, and is expected to open in the summer.
Owner Taki Kastanis opened his first Yolk in Chicago in 2006 and now has four locations in the Windy City.
The CityWay location will be Yolk’s first outside of Chicago.
At CityWay, developed by Indianapolis-based Buckingham Cos., Yolk joins Cerulean, Qdoba and Orange Leaf as food-related retail tenants.
Yolk will occupy space just east of The Alexander hotel, with its storefront facing south toward the Eli Lilly and Co. campus.
The restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekends.
Yolk’s menu includes five-egg omelets, eggs benedict, and specialty skillets and frittatas, in addition to a variety of pancakes and waffles.
