Hachette Book Group, a longtime tenant of Duke Realty Corp.’s Lebanon Business Park, is expanding there in a big way.
The New York City-based publisher and distributor has signed a lease to occupy an entire 418,000-square-foot building, bringing its total space at the park to 1.8 million square feet spread over three buildings.
Indianapolis-based Duke Realty announced the expansion, which is expected to create 50 jobs, on Tuesday.
“When Hachette first visited Lebanon Business Park 20 years ago and opted to locate here, they liked the fact that [the park] provided opportunities for expansion, as well as its location and accessibility,” said Charlie Podell, Duke Realty’s senior vice president of the Indiana and Ohio region, in a written statement.
The expansion marks the fifth for Hachette, the largest tenant in the park.
Lebanon Business Park is a 1,250-acre industrial park located near Interstate 65 that Duke began developing in 1994. The park includes 17 buildings totaling 7.5 million square feet of space.
