Indianapolis-based CloudOne Corp. has secured $2.8 million in venture capital, the company announced Monday.

The latest round of funding was led by San Diego-based Bootstrap Venture Fund. CloudOne has landed more than $7 million in venture capital since it was founded in 2009.

CloudOne sets up customers with private cloud networks that provide IBM software. Its clients include Cummins Inc., CVS Caremark and McDonald's.

The latest financial infusion will “further accelerate growth through sales and marketing, customer service and account management,” company officials said in a prepared statement.

This is the third venture capital boost for the firm. Most recently, the company raised $1.7 million in June 2012.

The company revamped its board of directors after securing its latest investment.

The board includes John McDonald, the company’s chairman; David Clark, a venture partner at Indianapolis investment firm Elevate Ventures; Ryan Diem, a retired offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts; Parker Hinshaw, a co-founder and former CEO of maxIT Healthcare in Westfield, and Christopher Hughes, managing principal at HKS Capital Advisors in Clarendon Hills, Ill.
