People:
People appears in IBJ weekly to recognize people who've been hired or promoted at local companies and organizations. We also list newly elected board members. The deadline is 10 days prior to the issue in which you want the listing to appear. Actual publication date depends on the volume of submissions received. There is no charge for People listings.

There are three ways to submit People:

Preferred: Submit listings and photos electronically using our People submission link.

Accepted: You may e-mail People listings to Bonnie Maurer at bmaurer@ibj.com.

Discouraged: You may mail or fax your information to IBJ to the attention of People. The fax number is 317-263-5406. The mailing address is 41 E. Washington St., Suite 200, 46204. We no longer accept People photos via U.S. mail.

Records:
Deadlines for Records are 10 days prior to the issue in which you want the item to appear.

Send calendar and announcement submissions to Bonnie Maurer at bmaurer@ibj.com (No news releases please). Calendar items should be in the following format: Month, Day, Time: Sponsor, “Title of program”, Speaker, Location, Cost, Contact Name, Days if continuing monthly.

Send fundraiser and in-recognition items to Gabrielle Poshadlo at gposhadlo@ibj.com.

The subject line of any records-related e-mails should include the name of the Records category you’re submitting for. IBJ makes the final determination about the appropriateness of submissions and where they will publish in the newspaper.
