20 in Their Twenties, 2023, Indianapolis Business Journal

IBJ’s 20 in their Twenties honors emerging leaders who are making an impact on their communities at the very start of their careers. These 20-somethings are entrepreneurs, engineers, volunteers and social justice advocates—and people who will continue to contribute in the decades ahead.

Today’s event will highlight young adults in central Indiana whose achievements in business or the community stand out from their peers and excel beyond what would be expected at the person’s age.

Matt Whiteside

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Circle Beverage

Matt has a background with organizations of varying sizes, having served in capacities as a corporate leader, consultant, and entrepreneur. He is a health & wellness fanatic that was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 3, which ultimately inspired him to found Circle Beverage, an Indianapolis-headquartered company where he currently serves as CEO.

Circle Beverage is a contract manufacturer that specializes in health and wellness products.  The company is a certified Benefit Corporation (B-Corp) and is committed to using business as a force for good to enrich the lives of its team members, partners, and community. At its Indianapolis facility, Circle manufactures products for both emerging and established brands with a global reach.

Matt has relocated to nine different cities in his life, both domestically and internationally, and in 2012 he selected Indiana as the foundation for his business & young, growing family.  Prior to Circle Beverage he founded and sold TheLeatherBookLibrary.com and served in various leadership positions at Rolls-Royce Aerospace, Indiana University Health, and Coca-Cola.  His community involvement spans several fitness, charitable, and leadership organizations, including the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, the Penrod Society and the Naptown Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy.
