July 13: Caring for the Caregiver Conference, sponsored by Applegate Elder Law at140 N Rangeline Road, Carmel, features Kathy Woods, Ageless Grace, a cutting-edge fitness program for body and brain, based on the science of neuroplasticity, movement, music and play. AXA Advisors LLC has awarded the following students $2,500 as winners of the 2017 AXA Achievement Scholarship: Alyssa Fleckenstein, Kathy Huang, Elizabeth Miller, Grace Zhang, Carmel High School; Rushi Patel, Avon High School; Katherine Dorsey, Carroll High School; Karen Mcguire, Terre Haute North Vigo High School. Drake Abramson, a senior at Thomas A. Edison Jr-Sr High School, will receive $10,000 as the Indiana state winner of the 2017 AXA Achievement Scholarship.
