Add another dimension to the debate over global warming. A National Geographic online story is quoting a meteorologist saying we might be in line for a string of cold, snowy winters.
So much for global warming? No, says the meteorologist, Joe Bastardi, of AccuWeather. Warmer temperatures might be shifting more moisture from earth into the atmosphere and, voila, we get more snow.
However, another meteorologist told National Geographic he thinks the deluge of snow this year was caused by El Nino.
