For me, the weekend included a triple-header of holiday arts shows: No Exit's off-center "Nutcracker," the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's "Yuletide Celebration," and the sixth edition of the Phoenix Theatre's holiday sketch-and-song show "A Very Phoenix Xmas." More on all of those in 12/12 print column (or sooner).
I also had the pleasure of hosting a trivia game in the lobby of the Circle Centre theatre before a packed screening of "It's a Wonderful Life," testing out some new games for some upcoming gift recommendations, and being charmed by "The Muppets" in my effort to catch up on films for the upcoming awards-voting by the Indiana Film Journalists Assocation (still have a lot to see).
And you?
Did you get to see one of the new shows at the IMA (see my thoughts here)? Take a First Friday gallery tour? Experience a holiday show that I missed?
What did you hear, see or otherwise do this weekend?
Your thoughts?
