Indiana police have arrested a man that they say beat his 21-year-old girlfriend and her 14-month-old child. Officers took Tayaun Chism, 18, into custody last night at St. Vincent Hospital. The girl is in critical condition. The mother was treated and released. Fox 59 will have more at 10 p.m.

Trussway Ltd., a Houston-based manufacturer of roof supports and other home-building supplies, plans to close its plant in Franklin, putting about 35 production, design and sales workers out of work. Indianapolis police are looking for three people after a double shooting last night in the 6400 block of Townsend Way, near Michigan Road.
