A woman accused of running over her boyfriend with his own car has surrendered to police. Police said Chanel Garrett hit
Michael Powell with his SUV during an argument on Sunday. Garrett allegedly pulled away, then backed up and struck Powell,
dragging him nearly 40 feet onto the sidewalk near the intersection of 40th Street and Park Avenue. Powell was treated at
Wishard Hospital. Garrett is charged with battery.
