The Indianapolis International Airport is expecting to be busy this week and next despite an average 8 to 10 percent decline
compared to the same period last year.
The airport expects more than 20,000 travelers to pass through the facility
every day from Wednesday through Dec. 29. The Air Transport Association estimates the busiest travel days nationally will
be Dec. 27, 28 and 29.
Indianapolis airport officials say additional personnel will be brought in where needed
to handle the larger-than-normal crowds.
