grandsons in Zionsville. I did not know who he was when I first talked to him. He came up to me and complimented my son’s
play in late grade school or high school. I thanked him and we chatted a little. I didn’t learn until several months later
who he was. I just knew he was one of my son’s teammates’ grandfather.
He was as supportive of a fan as you could ask for. He loved to watch the kids play sports. Zionsville High School had a moment
of silence before the national anthem for Cato at their sectional game. I agree that it was sad that the local media did not
give his passing a little more coverage. We all lost a true supporter of high school in Indiana.
