Subscribe NowCarmel-based Williams Comfort Air, a heating and cooling contractor, is accepting nominations for its Extraordinairy Treasures annual scholarship program. Six one-time scholarships totaling $5,000 will be awarded to high school seniors based on community service, leadership activities and family commitment. Students from Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan and Shelby counties who plan to enroll in a university, community college or vocational/trade school are eligible.
Nominations are being accepted through April 13. Three $1,000 scholarships will be determined by a Williams Comfort Air committee. One $1,000 scholarship and two $500 scholarships will be awarded based on an online vote to be conducted April 21 to May 12. Scholarship recipients will be announced the week of May 17.
