Interactive Intelligence reported higher profit in the first quarter compared with the same period the previous year, as
revenue for its products and services increased.
The Indianapolis-based maker of call center software said on Tuesday that first-quarter profit rose to $1.9 million, or 10
cents a share, a 58-percent improvement over the first three months of last year.
First-quarter revenue climbed 19 percent over the year-ago period, to $35 million.
“We had strong year-over-year growth across all major geographies,” Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO
Donald E. Brown said in a prepared statement.
Interactive Intelligence also reported strong profit gains in the fourth quarter of last year. It earned $2.5 million in
the final three months, a 74-percent improvement over the same period in 2008.
