Carmel-based real estate developer Leo Brown LLC has received a 10-year property-tax abatement from the town of Avon for
a 20-acre, $36 million senior-living community.

The project, Reagan Park Senior Living, is expected to create 132 jobs with an average salary of $37,000 when it is completed
in 2011. Construction should start this summer.

The development, on 10th Street, just west of the Ronald Reagan Parkway, will include a 102-bed nursing facility, 82-unit
assisted living facility and 94-unit apartment complex for seniors.

In addition, Leo Brown plans to build a 20,000-square-foot medical office building in the community.

Leo Brown is also developing a senior living community in Fort Wayne called Park Place Senior Living.
