The center that opened in 2005 in the Purdue Research Park of Northwest Indiana is home to 16 businesses in such fields as medicine and fuel-cell technology. The center hosts about 100 workers earning an average annual wage of about $54,000.
The 12,000-square-foot addition brings space at the center to a total of 60,000 square feet.
Officials dedicated the addition on Tuesday.
The Purdue Research Foundation says the addition will provide more opportunities to attract and retain high-tech jobs in the area.
