Sounds like Antone is taking on too much – possibly resulting in underfunded development of questionable quality. Hope the neighbors keep close watch on this one.
This article leaves more questions than answers. So the MDC approved unanimously the plan for Antone (and not Jim) but according to the article they both had the same desire for restaurant/bar. So why was one “plan” so much better than the other, and if the plan that won the contract is so much better why are there little to no details on it? The quote is that the developer (Antone) is still open to multiple options, a restaurant, retail, office, and there is no timeline…. So what exactly is the MDC approving other than hand picking who they want to own real estate. As a reader does Antone have any other developments you can speak to that would help me understand what he’s done… or do I have to the journalistic homework?
