Eiteljorg Museum
The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian collaborated with our own Eiteljorg Museum for this look at the good and the bad in relations between Native and African Americans. Pottery and baskets share the space with photographs and other items. Special events include a concert of jazz, blues and pop music by Chippewa/African American Blair Clark on April 8, a lecture from the first biracial Miss Navajo—along with a screening of the documentary “Hearing Radmilla” on March 19, and much more.
