The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce is the latest to get into the game, with MyChamberApp. It works with the usual suspects, such as the iPhone, iPod, Android and Blackberry.
The application has such things as locations, websites, phone numbers and GPS driving directions to businesses.
Dorson“We see it as an innovative approach to provide a shot in the arm to many local businesses and the economy,” said Roland Dorson, president of the Indianapolis chamber.
MyChamberApp also dovetails with the chamber’s green business initiative, Dorson said, because fewer maps will need to be printed for members as they increasingly use the new electronic feature.
