    1. It’s very important. Climate Change has the potential to destabilize communities further than they already are. Ensuring that we are prepared to reduce our climate impact as well as make ourselves resilient to the worst impacts that are likely to happen is critical to ensuring that households and neighborhoods remain stable enough to reduce violent crime and ensure that access to resources and services are maintained.

    2. You realize that Indy can walk and chew gum at the same time. Both are extremely important, and both can be focused on.

  1. Doesn’t the city have an office of sustainability under DPW? Just give them something to do for a change. They’re already under salary and we’ll get the same toothless recommendations that the Councillors will actively ignore when it comes to tax abatements and land use petition support.

  2. Mayor Braindead of Carmel is a Progressive Democrat, who sounds like Pee Wee Herman. He believes in the UN Agenda 21 / 30 and masquerades as a Republican. If you don’t know what Agenda 21 is, it is “sustainable” development that impacts EVERY FACET OF YOUR LIFE. It’s control of the population.
