An Indianapolis homeowner took matters into his own hands when he caught three men inside his home near Interstate 70 and Hillside Avenue early Friday morning. The homeowner said he shot one of the men, and the two others took off running. Police found the man shot by the homeowner hiding in a house at least two miles away on Lawrence Street. They also found a stolen car parked behind the home. He was taken to Wishard Hospital in serious condition.
