  1. And of course, Indiana legislators continue to divert resources from the state’s public education system to prop up the religious institutions that make up more than 95% of “voucher” schools.

    Are the people who send there kids to “religious institutes” tax payers. And if so are you willing to give them a tax break to “NOT” use public schools. Or is you view that we all should pay teacher union to educate our children.

    If we pay teachers more what guarantee do we the taxpayers get that we will get a higher quality product. And isn’t teacher salaries a local school board issue, but of course they are not handling the way the enlightened think they should so we must escalate the issue to a higher authority. Of course all government is local unless we the enlightened say it is not.

    Light rail, let’s see how big a boondoggle the red line is first.
