WHME-TV Channel 46 plans to broadcast 60 hours of live WISH news starting April 6, WISH owner Circle City Broadcasting announced.
WHME is a religious television station that serves as the flagship station of World Harvest Television and is owned by Family Broadcasting Corp. Family Broadcasting was founded by Assembly of God minister Lester Sumrall.
The station’s studios are in South Bend and its transmitter is in Mishawaka.
DuJuan McCoy, owner and CEO of Circle City Broadcasting, said the deal is a step in his plan to make WISH a statewide news network.
“The beginning of my goal to bring the quality and legacy of WISH-TV news from the capital city of Indianapolis to all television markets in the state of Indiana, and to the estimated 1.2 million Hoosiers that currently receive their local news from non-Indiana television stations, including the Gary region and 15 counties in southern Indiana,” McCoy said.

What a great idea! It would also be good if WISH TV would air stories originally reported by the other market stations that will be a part of the statewide network. Too often we in Indianapolis only get central Indiana news, or rip-and-read stories off the wire about news happening beyond our market.
How about bringing Wish TV back to Dish Network and ATT Uverse!!
