Terms of the acquisition, which was announced Tuesday, were not disclosed.
Racer Wholesale has helped build national recognition for G-Force Racing Gear, which has supplied thousands of racers with helmets, driving suits, gloves, shoes and other safety products for more than 20 years.
Racer Parts is in the process of moving the Atlanta company's inventory to its near-east side headquarters at 411 Dorman St. in Indianapolis.
The local firm will not change its name to reflect the additional product lines it will now offer, the company said, but the Racer Wholesale logo and name will be added to its website.
It was not immediately clear how many employees each company has.
