Subscribe NowAfter reading [Morton Marcus’ June 13] column on regionalism and more specifically adding layers, my mind immediately went to the Indy Partnership. You may remember it was formed about a decade ago with great regional support to market Indianapolis and the surrounding counties, with a seven-figure budget, some 20 folks and a nationally recognized economic professional for a president.
Today after a stint under the umbrella of Central Indiana Corporate Partnership it has been rolled into Develop Indy.
I can’t help but wonder if the Indy Partnership had maintained its independence and was allowed to stay focused what the current state of the organization might be.
