Obviously not good news. Hopefully Tavern can hold on. Though in the future- there is still going to be so much housing in the area with the influx of “luxury” apartments. The strip can’t stay empty, right?
Unfortunately this is going to be the norm. It has been stated in some food industry circles that between 12-40% of all restaurants will close nation wide. With what we have seen locally and with a number of other slated we may not see the entire impact for 8-12 months.
Tim & Nicole, sorry to see this. Hoping for better days and that you are able to rebuild. You and your restaurants are my go-to when in Indy. Edna

Unfortunately, this will be the new norm. A lot of businesses were barely surviving before the pandemic. It will be interesting and very sobering to see how many survive the next year.
