  1. Meh. Morton’s was another fuddy-duddy chain steakhouse. Hopefully someone will go into that space and activate the street space in front of them instead of using the crosswalk as their personal valet parking space.

    1. No need to be hurtful, fuddy – duddys have feeling too. Gonna miss the place. And while I walk there, personally I would much rather have a valet in that street space to hold the door for patrons than a panhandler asking them for money.

  2. The ones listed are not the only permanent closures. I recently tried to order a Cheesedteak from DiBella’s and subsequently learned that all DiBella’s locations in the city have been permanently shuttered.

    1. Never heard of DiBella’s before this comment, so I looked it up. Google agrees with Victor: locations near IUPUI, Castleton, and Traders Point are all listed as “permanently closed”.

  3. Sad, I am afraid that the true impact of the closures will be more than anyone imagines at this point. The retail and restaurant landscape will change dramatically. With lost business over the last 8-12 weeks, now being required to operate at 50% capacity, and consumers changing their habits, there is not enough revenue that can be made to cover the costs. Look for MANY more to close, some will surprise you.
