On Nov. 15, the name of the 180,000-square-foot building at 6002 Sunnyside Drive, north of Pendleton Pike, will change to Incrediplex, according to owner Dave Lawrence.
The complex will devote about 50,000 square feet to the new attractions, which include a tiki bar and restaurant, eight-lane bowling alley, bumper cars, multi-level laser tag, rock climbing, coin-operated games and a four-story playground.
It will also retain most of its sports facilities for soccer, basketball, lacrosse and volleyball.
Owners plan to spend about $2 million on the remodeling and to hire new facility operator Incredible Dave’s LLC. Louisville-based Incredible Dave’s, which was founded in 2008 and has locations in Louisville and Nashville, Tenn., plans to retain the previous management and hire 60 additional employees.
Lawrence said he had considered opening an Incredible Dave’s location in the space that Dave & Buster’s took in Castleton in 2009.
Sports of All Sorts opened in November 2006 as one of the largest recreational multi-sport and fitness complexes in the Midwest.
