The Democratic candidate for governor is planning a pair of rallies Saturday. A Gregg spokeswoman said Tuesday he plans to start the day in his southwestern Indiana hometown of Sandborn before heading for an afternoon rally in Indianapolis.
Gregg said in May he would run. The Indiana Democratic Party endorsed Gregg's run for office in August.
Gov. Mitch Daniels is term-limited from serving again in office. Rep. Mike Pence and Fishers businessman Jim Wallace are seeking the Republican nomination.
Gregg, Pence and Wallace have been campaigning throughout Indiana most of the year, supporting municipal candidates across the state.
