The increase to capacity for the game against the Cincinnati Bengals follows continued discussions with the Marion County Public Health Department. The team and the health department have not yet finalized plans for future home games at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts were permitted to have 2,500 people at their home opener last month against the Minnesota Vikings and up to 7,500 people for last Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. Typical capacity for Colts home games is about 63,000 fans.
Tickets for the game are expected to go on sale Friday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m., starting at $48 each. Like with previous games, tickets are expected to be sold in sets to allow for physical distancing between groups of fans.
