Comcast said it is introducing its home security offering to suburban Indianapolis, including Fishers and Anderson.
It first offered the service in Houston, in mid-2010.
The Philadelphia-based company said service is available with motion detectors, door sensors and video cameras. There is professional monitoring and police and fire alerting, as well.
Customers can also watch criminals ransacking their house on the Web via in-home cameras and on an app available at the iTunes App Store. Users can also adjust thermostats and lighting remotely.
Comcast is pricing the service locally from $29.95 a month to $39.95 a month. Installation ranges from $199 to $299, said company spokesman Patrick Paterno.•
