Daniels plans to spend Wednesday and part of Thursday at the 2011 Republican Governors Association meeting in Orlando. His office said Tuesday he plans to talk about lessons from his seven years in office and public-private partnerships.
Daniels' policies have frequently been emulated by other Republican governors including Wisconsin's Scott Walker and Ohio's John Kasich.
Daniels has had mixed results in his attempts to privatize traditionally government services.
His leasing of the Indiana Toll Road garnered money for new transportation projects throughout the state. But his contracting of social welfare delivery to IBM led to major problems for welfare recipients and an ongoing lawsuit with the company.
Florida's Rick Scott has similarly struggled to privatize state prisons.
