Local toxicology company guarantees same-day COVID test results

Indianapolis-based Aria Diagnostics has launched a new COVID-19 testing service that guarantees same-day results.

Aria Diagnostics, a toxicology company based at 5635 W. 96th St., said the service introduced Monday delivers patients’ molecular test results by 8 p.m. the day of testing. According to a company statement, Aria is the only private lab capable of such quick turnaround results outside of a hospital in Indiana.

“We have acquired innovative technology that can perform highly accurate PCR tests much faster than broadly available, current technology allows,” Vipin Adhlakha, president of Aria Diagnostics, said in a written statement. “While the experience to the customer is the same swift drive-through swab, they can now expect their results within hours of taking the test.”

Aria’s same-day test is currently only available at its Fisher’s location. The Cornerstone Lutheran Church testing site at 13450 E. 116^th St. is open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The rapid results test is only available for self-pay and costs $165. Registration is available online at www.ari-adx.com.

Two-day turnaround tests are available at Aria’s Traders Point Christian Church location, at 6590 S. Indianapolis Road, in Whitestown. Testing takes place there Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In Carmel, Aria offers testing at 621 S. Rangeline Road Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:15-3:30 p.m. Testing at that location is also available Friday and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 1:15-3 p.m.
