  1. $225K for new signage in the preforming arts center that was brand new 10 years ago? Those better be some really nice signs… How over budget was that project to begin with? Did the contractors not install proper signage to begin with? If so, why not?

    As a former resident I supported most of Carmel’s expenditures. Lately, it seems like their spending is getting out of control. If Indianapolis were spending like this, I gurantee the Statehouse would be getting involved.

    1. I wish the statehouse would get involved in Indianapolis reckless TIF spending.

    1. Just spent $3M a couple years ago repainting the water tower. Funny the IBJ just wrote an article about the Council pushing back on Brainard but they passed his full $125M debt request including this $25M slushfund. Political theater
