Good move. I have often wondered why they continued to hold on to this property.
If similar homes in the neighborhood have sold for nearly $4 million, why is the list price 44-percent less than that?
I visited this house regularly for many years when I worked for Allen Clowes. What has been done to this house through the remodel is horrible! This used to be an incredible and beautiful historic house. I am saddened to see what was done to it.
The list price is very reasonable. The house and grounds have some issues, but the complex is very tasteful and the details are amazing. Not a cheap house to run and the updates and repairs will be costly.
And… they have accepted an offer.
Good, back on the property tax rolls where it should be.
