Syra Health today announced it will invest $566,000 to add 5,000 square feet of office space. It currently has a 4,000- square-foot office at 119 Keystone Way N.
The woman- and minority-owned business now has 25 employees and will be hiring medical writers, data scientists, public health and policy experts, value-based care strategists and clinical staff. Staffing is expected to grow to 100 by the end of 2021.
The company, a subsidiary of STLogics Holding Group, was founded in 2020. It supports health and life science organizations by providing medical communications, public health analysis, patient education solutions and value-based care programs.
“We are continuously striving to improve patient care and patient engagement with innovative solutions in medical education and communications,” Syra Health CEO Deepika Vuppalanchi said in a statement. “Our team is also focused on strengthening value-based care models and ensuring continuity of care with resourcing optimal number of clinical care professionals in our local and regional hospitals.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. said it will provide Syra Health with $2.1 million in tax credits if the company meets its job creation commitments.
