Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based concert and event promoter MOKB Presents announced Thursday that it has reached an exclusive deal with The Pavilion at Pan Am to handle the venue’s public concert and entertainment schedule.
The partnership is expected to boost the venue’s concert business by adding more performances by entertainers in additional genres of music, the companies said.
The Pavilion at Pan Am, 201 S. Capitol, currently hosts more than 75 shows annually. The venue’s capacity ranges from 3,000 for indoor events to 7,500 for outdoor concerts.
Located across the street from the Indiana Convention Center, the facility also hosts numerous non-concert-related events.
The venue’s music schedule typically features a steady dose of electronic dance music (EDM), rap and dance acts. Scheduled to appear this month are Lil Baby, Dru Hill and Deadmau5.
“We have a talented in-house team that is successful in continually growing our convention and special events business,” Pavilion co-founder and partner Cebronica Luft said in written comments. “While we already have a robust rental business with national EDM promoters, we are excited to partner with MOKB to increase volume and continue to diversify our programming.”
MOKB Presents, founded in 2008, has grown into the city’s largest independent concert promoter. It regularly schedules acts at the Hi-F Indy, Hi-Fi Annex, The Vogue, Garfield Park, White Rabbit Cabaret, Lo-Fi Lounge and more.
Jason King, partner & senior talent buyer at MOKB Presents, said his company was attracted to the Pavilion’s versatility.
“The venue’s all-ages, scalable capacity will allow us to really expand our reach in the market,” he said. “So far, artists, agents and managers have been delighted to hear about additional independent venue options of this size in Indianapolis.”

wish they would show case more local live bands like Be On It and nationally known jazz. More R&B artist like H.E.R.,SZA and Post Malone would be amazing
I’ve attended many concerts produced by MOKB and I feel that their production quality is top-notch. I look forward to seeing which acts get secured for the Pavilion.
