  1. This “analysis” is distinctly unhelpful. There are substantial externalities in play. Low vaccination rates increase transmission to other people and, as we’ve seen, increase the likelihood of mutation. This is not simply an individual “value” decision.

    1. Completely agree with DK. The article could have ended after the first two sentences and have said all that needed to be said. Although the decision to get get vaccinated involves personal choice it also equally, if not more so, involves community responsibility.

  2. Interestingly, studies out this week show the two groups most avoiding vaccination are highly educated PHD types and the very low educated group….. Maybe they are not that far removed from each other after all.
