Many food trucks in Indianapolis are not in compliance and some have become an outright nuisance, especially in Broad Ripple late at night. One failed to provide trash receptacles (resulting in patrons throwing garbage on the ground), operating on city streets in violation of the law and close to establishments which sell food, and taking limited city parking spaces and converting them into a private business.
