Indianapolis cannot afford to keep giving away money it needs now to support developers and their projects for bigger taxes in 10 years. We have to have income for schools, libraries, police and fire, parks, streets. I support a good balance but we’ve created too many TIFs. Building for the future is good, but we can’t afford more at this time.
