As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowE-commerce giant Radial said Tuesday that it plans to hire 2,500 seasonal part-time employees to help staff its warehouse fulfillment center in Brownsburg during the coming months.
Radial, which fills online orders for dozens of retail brands, said it needed the temporary help to pick, sort, pack and ship an upcoming surge in holiday orders. Applicants do not need experience.
The seasonal workers will be given “significant opportunities” to move into full-time positions, the company said.
Radial already has 151 full-time workers at the Brownsburg facility.
The company did not disclose how much it would pay seasonal employees in central Indiana, but said it would offer competitive hourly wages and overtime opportunities.
Radial is using staffing business Adecco to host a hiring event on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Brownsburg. More information can be found on the company’s career page.
Overall, the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based company plans to hire more than 27,000 seasonal workers at its 25 fulfillment centers nationwide.
The company said it expects 65% of American consumers to spend either more or at least as much online this year during the holidays compared with 2020.
Radial provides online fulfillment services for dozens of major brands that include The Children’s Place, Aeropostale, Dick’s Sporting Goods, GameStop, DSW Shoes and Urban Outfitters.
