Locally based Koorsen Fire & Security Inc. has acquired Ohio Electronic Protection, a security firm based in Columbus, Ohio.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1946 in Indianapolis, Koorsen is a privately held company with 658 employees and about 20 locations ranging from Indiana to Florida. It provides electronic security systems, fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
OEP was founded in 1993 and primarily supplies fire and security systems to businesses. It has 13 employees and services customers throughout Ohio.
