  1. Conveniently excluded from the article is Jeffrey Immelt who was the CEO from 2001 – 2017 who oversaw the demise of GE. I wonder why that would be? Jack Welch who built the company is mentioned, but the destroyer of the company not a mention.

    1. Berkshire Hathaway is more of a holding company. The distinction isn’t always obvious, but generally speaking BH doesn’t try to manage all the businesses it owns as one company but let’s them stand on their own more.
