Will you be able to have speed boats on this lake for skiing and wake surfing?
It’s 35 acres, which is roughly equivalent to the lake in 100 Acres @Newfields. While feasible, it’s not really an appropriate use for a body of water that small.
It’s only a 35 acre lake
It’s raining dollar bills in Zionsville.
Ah, retention pond-front living.
35 acres is hardly a retention pond
Nice addition
Where, exactly, is this located? I would like to see the area.
I’m glad to see this development happen. Back in the 60’s, my father, Albert Wurster owned the property. I am a Civil Engineer and designed the lake and obtained approval from IDNR for “Wurster Lake”, as it appears on Google Earth. I can tell you, the Wurster Family really enjoyed it for for many year, water skiing, hunting, swimming, fishing as well as MX bike riding on a trail in the woods, on the west side. I’m disappointed that the original house was torn down; but, recognize it was not located in the right spot, for development.
Brad, good luck w/ the development and I hope all of the eventual owners love and draw the same enjoyment our family did.
