    1. More likely that our blood thirsty Federal government tried to railroad these unfortunate souls by fabricating the entire case. Sometimes it’s incompetence, not fraud, that fells companies, and there’s not always somebody to blame.

    2. Thomas, give me a break. This was systemic and well documented fraud on a massive scale.
IBJ, can you interview Democrat Jane and find out why these guys walked? Also find out what Jane would say to small timers who get hammered for a fraction of these violations.

  1. The way that these guys used their internal structure and processes show me there is someone to blame. The worst part is the loss of 4,000 people’s jobs – immediately, without warning. Alot of drivers were stuck in other cities and had to find their way home, abandoning truck and trailer, most with customer goods. When you file a Chapter 11, there are ways and time to think about others, not just yourselves.

These guys are not innocent, they likely got off on a technicality – so maybe Thomas A. will invest money with them in their next ‘venture’?

    1. Amen, these guys are not innocent. Something happened, someone screwed up, and those high dollars lawyers caught it.
