Admiration for Reiff

Thank you for Bill Benner’s tribute to Ralph Reiff [July 1]. He is so deserving of being in the trainers’ national Hall of Fame, and we locals need to know about it.

Also, I loved the plug for David Craig, who is always so generous with young trainers and deserves to be in the Hall of Fame himself. Speaking of these commendable trainers reminds me of the late Joe Harvey, who devoted his life to athletic training at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and held top leadership roles in both the state and national athletic training organizations. Losing him to pancreatic cancer at a relatively young age was a real blow.
