F.C. Tucker Co. has entered into an agreement with Shoopman Home Building Group in which 21 of its real estate agents will staff model homes in seven communities Shoopman is developing.

Jim Litten, president of F.C. Tucker Co.’s residential real estate services division, lauded the arrangement as “one-stop” shopping for prospective homebuyers.

“Consumers will be served by veteran real estate professionals with both new and existing home sales experience, plus have immediate access to any of the new home communities in which Shoopman is building and the entire [listing] of homes for sale in central Indiana,” he said in a written release.

Tucker agents will begin staffing model homes in some of the developments on March 7. They ultimately will be in the seven communities of:

– Abney Glen at 121st Street and Shelborne Road
– Brookfield Place at South Franklin Road
– Cass Estates at 116th Street and Shelborne Road
– Lawrence Woods at East 79th Street west of Carroll Road
– Monarch Springs at 191st Street and State Road 37
– Ridge at Hayden Run at 141st Street and Towne Road
– Sanctuary at 121st Street and Michigan Road

Shoopman Home Building is operated by Paul Shoopman, who began building homes in 1971. He built Dura Builders Inc. into Indianapolis’ fifth-largest homebuilder before selling it to Los Angeles-based KB Home.

With more than $2 billion in annual sales, F.C. Tucker Co. is the state’s largest independently owned real estate firm. It has 46 offices and more than 1,500 agents in Indiana and Kentucky.
