Michael Zogby will serve as the partner-in-charge at both the Morristown, New Jersey, and Philadelphia offices. Partner Jessica Brennan and associate Kaitlyn Stone will work in the New Jersey location while partner Chanda Miller, partner Molly Flynn and associate Rebecca Trela will work in Philadelphia.
All six attorneys previously served as firm leaders in the Product Liability & Mass Tort and Health & Life Sciences groups at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath. Barnes & Thornburg said “the group has diverse trial and litigation experience, representing global clients in complex product liability, mass tort, class actions, intellectual property, antitrust, trade secret, and cross border disputes, particularly in Japan and Europe.”
Barnes & Thornburg said the new offices will serve clients in the life sciences, health care, consumer products, global manufacturing and financial services, including the “sophisticated multinational companies that are resident in the corridor.”
The latest expansion follows the opening of the firm’s Boston office and significant growth over the past two years in its Washington D.C., and Delaware offices. The firm also opened its New York office in 2020, which has grown to 30 lawyers and staff, after adding life sciences-focused locations in Raleigh, North Carolina; Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Salt Lake City in 2019.
Barnes & Thornburg is the largest law firm in Indianapolis, with about 200 local attorneys. It has more than 700 attorneys nationwide.
