I sure hope he doesn’t run.

“…can coast to retirement,” Isn’t that what he’s been doing since day 1? Not a fan.
You are exactly right.
Ryan Vaughn, please run for mayor!

Definition of delusional: “I don’t know of a better campaign speaker,” said Fred Nation, former press secretary for then-Gov. Evan Bayh who worked with Hogsett on Bayh’s campaign and again when Bayh became governor. “You bring somebody to fire up a crowd, that’s Joe Hogsett.”
Yeah, he was really firing people up when he went into his bunker for months on end and let our city decay before our very eyes. Worst mayor in the history of our city – period. He is unable to even keep his house and yard in any form of order. What a joke these possible options are that are being thrown out for his next move. He needs to retire and never take a role in any form of public office ever again.
Well, look at the first name; Joe. That says it all.
This guy hasn’t had a positive impact on local business owners in 2 terms. Time for him to go.
I concur
I voted for Hogsett the first time because I thought he was going to be a “Law and Order” Mayor after his stint as a U.S. Attorney. Instead, crime has run rampant and the city has gone to pot during his term. Our streets are a disgrace, there is litter everywhere, and the “crackdown” on street racing along 38th street has been a joke. I don’t understand how any company considering Indianapolis could drive around town and think their employees would want to move here. I can only imagine what a Hogsett term as Governor would do to the state. I say coast into retirement Joe.
Perfectly said.
Indianapolis is far worse off after Hogsett’s two terms in office. I hope he retires before he does any more damage to Indianapolis or the state.
Quote: “…he’s already built up a nice war chest to fund his race. His campaign committee had more than $2.4 million cash on hand in January, according to public campaign finance reports.”
Anyone who contributed a dime to that fund ought to have their head examined. What a waste of money…worse than waste, actually, because it leads that dope to believe that many people have the stupidity to give him money.
Think what $2,400,000 could do for good in Indianapolis.
