An Indianapolis police officer ended up in Methodist Hospital with minor injuries after a hit-and-run accident early this morning in the 1800 block of West Washington Street. Police say the driver who hit the officer ditched his car at the scene and ran off.
ISTEP+ testing starting today
Today is the first day of Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus for students in grades 3-8. It marks the official switch of ISTEP to spring from fall. This time, the test has been broken into two parts. The first runs today through March 11. The second begins in late April. Results will be released in August.
